Migrating Paige’s training and inference into Tempus’s GCP environment while continuing to scale the existing Azure footprint — 7 PB of whole-slide imaging on Azure Managed Lustre, dynamic CycleCloud scale-out, 1.5M Slurm jobs in 2025.

Paige.AI, 2018 – 2025. Sole HPC engineer through the $81M Tempus acquisition. The production training infrastructure behind Virchow2 and PRISM. Multi-cloud across Azure and AWS; scaled from Pascal/Volta on-prem GPUs through Ampere/Hopper systems and from 5 ML users to 40+.
Caltech CMS Tier-2, 2015 – 2018. Principal administrator of one of the U.S. Tier-2 compute sites for the Compact Muon Solenoid experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider. 7,300-slot HTCondor cluster, 4.5 PB of storage, in production collaboration with Fermilab, CERN, and the Open Science Grid.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 2018 – 2022 (concurrent with Paige). 100-GPU NVIDIA DGX-1 with Cisco RoCE networking and Pure Storage FlashBlade.
